Variation to planets seem to be added with every update, and Sean said that they are far from done with hat at the GDC this year. I myself would love to see them do something with the HUBS that are starting. Now with our ability to navigate to the same spot with the pilgrim star map, factions on here should have a lot to do. But I really want to see HG tailor to the ever increasing momentum of the HUB craze at the moment.
I knew i would enjoy this so much! Had you not told me a simple story this morning i would have not known you were so good at writing! I was hooked from the beginning, and stayed that way all the way to the end! Amazing talent . I hope you write more! I also cannot wait to see how you play this out in your nms adventures. Thank you so much for this!
I got some flak from some reddit-heads about my "some people have no imagination" comment, but I expected that.
But I'm a little confused as to why some people think NMS needs to have a story.
Think about some popular video games that had no story built into them. Tetris, Pac Man, Asteroids, Mario Brothers (get to the princess is no more story than get to the center of the galaxy), Mortal Kombat, Katamari Damacy, Minecraft... and I'm sure you can think of many more. They are a diverse lot.
Take Elite: Dangerous. Not a huge leap from the idea of NMS. Before it came out, no one was screaming "where's the plotline?" So why are so many people thinking NMS needs one?
